While this week has taken a rainier, colder turn from previous weeks, there’s no mistaking the fact that Spring is on its way. Flowers are sprouting up all over, blossoms are falling from the trees all over the sidewalks, and my allergies are kicking up big time.
So it’s oh so apropos that Hansens Florist (46th & Stone Way N, across from Blue Star Cafe) is hosting a free spring open house on Friday & Saturday, April 12-13, 11am to 4pm. Don’t forget to say hi to their new florist, Sue Grimord.

If you haven’t been in for a while, come meet the new designer (me!), and pick up something to perk up your place. We’ll be doing floral demonstrations and raffling off a few things each day.
