Catnapper Update

  • Post author:

Faith in humanity restored. Following up on our Catnapper story, it turns out that, despite the visual evidence to the contrary, it always pays to leave an open mind until you have all the evidence. Frederic writes:

Epilogue: The person who picked up Toulouse thought it could belong to a friend of her whose cat is also missing and looks very much like Toulouse. In doubt, her friend Steve eventually brought Toulouse to the Cat Clinic of Seattle on Stone Way where his microchip could be read.

Thank you very much to all of you who have taken the time to read, search, post, share and so much more.

I’d like to thank especially my neighbors on Eastern Ave N, friends, people I don’t even know who spontaneously offered advice and moral support, Officer Hacibektasoglu #8465 from the Seattle Police Department, The Seattle Animal Shelter, Steve and last but not least the staff at Cat Clinic of Seattle.

Katia, Fabrice, Nina and I are very, very grateful!

Time to REJOICE!

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
