Lincoln High School is looking for girls to join the LYNX ULTIMATE FRISBEE TEAM!

If your high school doesn’t yet offer this awesome sport, join us! Anyone living in the Wallingford, GreenLake, Phinney & Fremont area is eligible to play.

Calling all GIRLS who want to play ultimate frisbee this spring! Join the new Lincoln HS Girls Ultimate team. No previous experience needed – learn the sport while making new friends.

Practices start February 24, and league play begins in March.

  • What: Lincoln Lynx GIRLS Ultimate Frisbee Club Team — NO CUTS
  • When: First practice Monday, February 24, 4:00-5:30, the season runs through May. Practices are approx. three times per week, various days.
  • Where: Lower Woodland playfields

Get ready for the season by attending one of the two local free girls’ ultimate clinics in early February.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
