Hey Wallyhood – Several weeks ago, we posted about the broken window at Fainting Goat and encouraged readers to pop by and support the business. Well, you showed up for the Goat! Owner, Yalcin Ataman sent this follow-up note and I’ve been remiss in posting it:
Last Tuesday’s sales were amazing, I believe a lot of Wallyhood readers/neighbours came to the store help us recover some of our loss. This event reminded us how valuable it is being part of this community. Thank you for being a voice of this beautiful neighbourhood. I am glad they think of us and help us during this unprecedented event. Thank you so much.

It would be interesting to know where they’ll be, after their building is torn down for a 5 story project.
Hopefully on the ground floor of a new 5 story building – like Cafe Turko, – with that many more customers living within a short walk (or elevator ride)
