Young Tea business owner posted on facebook:
Hi community members of Wallingford, hope everyone is having a great start to the new year! My name is Caroline and I want to introduce myself as a new small business owner to your neighborhood. I founded Young Tea in 2015 out of a little storefront in Chinatown-ID, right next to Uwajimaya. After years of planning, we’ve decided to open our second location in Wallingford on 45th St, next to CVS & where Starbucks used to be.
Our mission is to serve high quality and health driven tea while introducing the Asian culture of tea drinking. While Taiwanese milk tea with toppings (also known as bubble tea) is what we are known for, we also carry a wide variety of fresh brewed tea, herbal drinks, tea leaves and accessories! Given the opportunity to operate at a beautiful and spacious storefront in Wallingford, we’ve also started doing small group tea tastings. Thank you for your support and warm welcome, and we hope to see you in the near future!
Make your reservation at youngteaglobal.com/teatasting. Standard tea tasting – $25 / Deluxe tea tasting – $35.
P.S. We are still trying to figure out the store hours of Wallingford store so it will be opened for tastings in the meantime. Thanks for being patient with us!
