Love’s Spell to Know – A Recital of Art Songs and Arias – TONIGHT at Wallingford United Methodist Church

Love is in the air and now is a chance to let it into your ears and your heart by attending this recital at Wallingford United Methodist Church January 20th at 7pm.

NOTE: Masks are mandatory inside of WUMC!

A program of favorites from the art song and opera repertoire to raise money for WUMC’s Community Emergency Relief fund. Baritone Justin Birchell is joined by pianist Dominico Reyes.
The program includes:
–Schumann’s Dichterliebe (complete!)
–Ravel’s Don Quichotte a Dulcinee
–Copland’s Old American songs
–A selection of opera arias

 

Tickets by donation–pay what you wish! Suggested donation: $20
The concert begins at 7:00pm in the sanctuary of Wallingford United Methodist Church (Bagley Ave & 42nd St).
Donations divided as follows: 1/3 to Justin (singer), 1/3 to Dominico (pianist), 1/3 to WUMC’s Community Emergency Relief Fund
The Community Emergency Relief Fund is a financial resource for supporting community members who face unexpected or emergency financial need. Past examples of funding have been to provide warm clothes, meals, cleaning supplies, and transportation assistance. 100% of the funds will go back into the community.
