Save the Date: Kiddie Parade is July 15

Jack Jack June 24, 2023 Comments are off

The Wallingford Kiddie Parade, a neighborhood tradition for over 75 years, is less than a month away. Organized by Celebrate Wallingford, the parade has been urgently seeking help which we posted about in November and February. Opportunities are still available to lend a hand, and if you plan to participate as a marcher or in other events surrounding the parade, now is the time to register:
  • Parade Registration is OPEN! Drill Teams, Neighborhood Groups, Schools, Local Businesses! If you haven’t yet registered to march in the parade, the time is NOW! For more info and registration forms, here’s your LINK.
  • The Great Parade Float Bonanza. We encourage people to create cool floats! Blake Garfield, (Celebrate Wallingford Board President) has a couple trailers to loan to folks who’d like to create a parade float. Yes, there’s NO rental fee! He’ll even deliver it to your door. The only commitment is your promise to turn yours into something fantastic. Intrigued? Want to enter? Find out more HERE
  • Merchant Hide & Seek. Yes! The ever favorite Hide & Seek Merchant Scavenger Hunt will happen immediately after the parade. Need info? Want to register as a participating merchant? Check out this LINK
  • Don’t miss the Wallingford Local Live Radio Broadcast at the Wallingford Farmer’s Market every last Wednesday of the month May 31 – Fall. Celebrate Wallingford Board President, Blake Garfield will be featured on Wednesday, June 28. More Info…
  • Finally, Celebrate Wallingford needs HELP! This is a community event–by, for and in YOUR neighborhood. Help make it happen!
