Dance Fremont Announces Fall Class Registration

Jack Jack July 28, 2023 Comments are off

[Editor’s note: Since 1996, Dance Fremont has been a part of our community. Located at 4015 Stone Way N, they have temporarily relocated to 8420 Greenwood Ave N while their Stone Way space is being renovated. In the meantime, their activities continue. We recently received the announcement below concerning their Fall classes from Chad Frerichs representing Dance Fremont.]

Why dance?

Dance Fremont’s mission is to inspire a lifelong love of dance in each student in an inclusive atmosphere full of joy and creativity. The power of dance can free our spirits, lifting us to heights where worries melt away and we feel truly alive. Organized dance instruction can provide benefits well beyond an emotional lift. Starting from the youngest classes, all the way up, Dance Fremont students learn vital life skills, such as creative problem solving and working cooperatively, in addition to developing mentally, emotionally, socially and physically.

Current students are the best advocates!

  • “I cannot imagine what my life would be like right now if I didn’t have dance.”
  • “I’m so excited for everything this year – all my classes, all the performances, everything – it’s going to be an amazing year!”
  • “Dance is how I can express myself. I’m shy about talking in front of people, but when I’m dancing I can be fully who I am.”
  • “I love the community at Dance Fremont. The atmosphere is really supportive, and the teachers really care about us. I’ve made so many amazing friends there. It’s my home away from home.”

Fall classes

All youth and adults interested are invited to dance at Dance Fremont! Teaching the community since 1996, Dance Fremont’s faculty is caring and experienced. Their upcoming school-year program includes creative dance, ballet, modern technique, pointe, dance composition, and performance opportunities for youth and adults.

Sign up today or learn more about our youth or adult programs here. Classes begin September 11, 2023.

Dance Fremont is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Learn more about them and how you can be a part of supporting their commitment to inspiring a lifelong love of dance in each student here.

Dance Fremont is committed to creating equity in our art form and justice for Black, Indigenous, and all People of Color. We understand our responsibility to help dismantle white supremacy and other harmful structures in dance and ballet. We celebrate differences, including differences in race, gender expression, and body type, and see this work as crucial to our ability to serve youth, families, and adults.
