We posted The End of Wallyhood? on September 20, 2023 and received responses from many of you imploring us to keep the blog alive and a number of RSVPs to our meeting next week. Thank you! We are glad to know the blog has been a meaningful part of your Wallingford community experience. We are also grateful for the suggestions for change and ideas for improvement.
Now, back to those RSVPs…without your help, we cannot create a new vision and carry it forward. Without more writers and creators, we cannot keep it alive. As a reminder, none of us four volunteer editors are professional journalists (I know, it’s shocking). All it takes is some creativity and effort and together we can make it great.
So, if you like Wallyhood and want to contribute, we look forward to seeing you at Murphy’s on Tuesday at 7:30PM. Wear a jacket and meet us on the back deck. Beer and snacks on us.
