Editor’s note: Wallyhood has long desired to strengthen our information links to our neighborhood public high school, Lincoln (LHS). Vicky Greenbaum, who is Director of Orchestras at LHS, has been helping us with this, and provided a list of upcoming arts and music-related events there.)
• December 3: Auction for the Arts 7 pm at Great Hall at Green Lake; details are provided in this previous Wallyhood article.
• December 7: All LHS Orchestras in concert 7 pm in Lincoln Auditorium; access via gate on Woodlawn Ave. Admission free; food for sale to fundraise and donations accepted! No tix necessary (plenty of seating!). Repertoire includes Swan Lake excerpts by Tchaikovsky; Shostakovich Symphony #5 2nd movement; Danzon by Arturo Marquez, and short sweet works performed by Chamber and Concert Orchestras.
• December 13: Concert and Symphonic Band concert, 7 pm in Lincoln Auditorium; access via gate on Woodlawn Ave. Admission free; food for sale to fundraise and donations accepted! No tix necessary (plenty of seating!)
• December 15: last day of school before Holiday Break
