Graduate students of the Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics Program at UW will be at the WCSC (located in the Good Shepherd Center at 4649 Sunnyside Ave N) to talk about the ideal diet for brain health and healthy aging. Come on by to learn more and get your questions answered! Free

End of Life Doula

Tuesday, March 12 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Kathy Bates will be presenting about her experiences being an End of Life Doula, what that means, and more! Kathy is a certified End of Life Doula, a certified Geriatric Mental Health Specialist, and was a social worker in skilled nursing facilities for 30+ years. Free.

The Seattle Irish Festival

Saturday, March 16, 12:00 -3:00 pm. Join us for the Irish Festival at the Seattle Center in honor of St Patrick’s Day! This event celebrates Irish heritage, culture, and arts with traditional music, step-dancing, lectures, genealogy workshops, Irish films, exhibits, displays, and more. We will meet at WCSC and take the van to the Seattle Center. This event is $4.00 for members and $6.00 for non-members. RSVP for reservations. 206.461.7825
