Brooks’ Neighborhood Appreciation Day

  • Post author:

On January 28th Brooks hosted a Neighborhood Appreciation Day at their “Trailside Store” on the corner of 34th Street and Stone Way.  Brooks wanted to thank the Wallingford and Fremont neighborhoods for their support during the street work that closed Stone Way in front of their store for many months in 2024. Brooks had some appreciation swag for visitors  including coffee & tea, some yummy cookies, a Brooks baseball hat, and some stickers.

The event was also an opportunity to highlight Brooks’ expansion into a new building located on Stone Way and  35th Street.  Brooks is leasing most of the building from Evo. The large sign in front of the new building on 35th & Stone Way makes it clear who the major tenant is.  Evo is still looking for additional tenant(s) for a portion of their new building. On the lower portion of the back of the building, a black and white mural is almost complete (and a lot more subdued than the bright mural on the backside of the Seattle Bouldering Project building).

    A well-kept secret – first I'd heard of it. And I'm a brooks customer.
