Wallingford Farmers Market is Back

lbush May 27, 2025 Leave a Comment

We are pleased to announce the Wallingford Farmers Market is back, every Wednesday 3-7 pm, starting May 28th, in the same great location and featuring wonderful vendors. Located in Meridian Park at the corner of Meridian Avenue N and N 50th Street, the Wallingford Farmers Market has been recognized by the Washington State Farmers Markets Association (WSFMA) as one of the best farmers markets in the state.

In addition to the market’s farm-fresh offerings, shoppers at Wallingford can enjoy sweet summer treats and prepared foods, with plenty of space to picnic under the apple trees, run around on the playground, or take a stroll through the lovely P-Patch Garden at the Good Shepherd Center.

It is a lively market, often accompanied by music from buskers and the sounds of families and friends spread out on the grass enjoying the summer evenings.

A few years ago, The Wallingford Local, featuring Wallingford’s own Felix Banel, broadcast live from the market and introduced the community to Johnny and Sarah, owners of Atoma restaurant, which opened in 2024 and brought fine dining to the community. Atoma is currently one of the finalists for the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant.

Who knows what may be discovered or who you can meet this year at the Wallingford Farmers Market!
