Halloween Spookiness in Wallingford and Beyond

In addition to the many scarily decorated houses in Wallingford that are sure to impress on Halloween night, there are a couple of organized events that we here at Wallyhood are aware of:

Neighborhood Haunted House
What: Halloween haunted house and spooky porch (for little ones)
Date: Friday, October 24th, Saturday, October 25th, & Friday, October 31st
Time: 6–8 pm
Where: 311 NE 51st Street

North Wallingford neighbor Kathy Bowie held this event last year, and signs are up on Latona announcing that it is back!

Seattle Halloween Alley
What: Family-friendly fun, games, and candy for kids of all ages!
Date: Friday, October 24th & Sunday, October 26th
Time: 5–8 pm
Where: Cedar Crossing/Roosevelt 1005 NE 67th Street
This event is free to enter, with optional donations accepted, benefiting FamilyWorks.

Wallingford Haunted Alley started in 2021 as a fun and spooky walk-through in Tangletown, put on by student volunteers and collecting donations for FamilyWorks. Last year, the event was moved from Tangletown to Roosevelt, near the FamilyWorks Resource Center. So while it’s no longer in the neighborhood, it still offers a great time and benefits our local food bank.

Happy Halloween! 🎃 Hope it’s not too wet…

Neighborhood haunted house was so fun! Took my 6 and 9 year old and they had a blast.
