EDITOR’S NOTE: We were informed early this afternoon (Saturday, November 1) that this event has been cancelled due to a medical emergency for the speaker. We will update if/when the workshop is rescheduled.
If last weekend’s little windstorm didn’t remind you that storm season is upon us, allow this Saturday’s workshop to jump-start that for you! Gather with Disaster Educator and Coordinator of North Seattle Emergency Hubs, Ann Forrest, to learn how to prepare our households for the hazards we face in Seattle. Also, learn how neighbors can work together after a disaster to support one another until outside help can arrive.
No need to register—just show up. And bring a neighbor! All are welcome.
Come for the door prizes, stay for the knowledge!
