It’s that time of year again: time for the bi-annual Wallingford Neighborhood Cleanup! Details are listed below.

I brought my two little kids (ages four and one at the time) to the neighborhood cleanup this past spring, and we loved it! My four-year-old got really into it, finding garbage everywhere. I vowed next time to bring along one or two of her friends—I bet they’d have a blast. My personal highlight? Observing how delighted adult passersby were to see children caring for our community. 😍

We’re excited to invite you to the Wallingford Neighborhood Cleanup on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm, meeting outside the Wallingford Center.

What to expect:

• We’ll provide litter pickers, safety vests, gloves, and trash bags (and maybe coffee and donuts too, like the spring clean up!)

• We’ll be there, rain or shine

• Families and friends are welcome
