Neighborhood Holiday Markets this Saturday, December 6th

THIS JUST IN: See below for an additional holiday market!

There are a couple of holiday markets happening in Wallingford this Saturday, December 6th. Hopefully you can make time in your Saturday schedule to check them out!

Jingle Pots at Throw & Build Pottery Studio

Throw & Build Pottery Studio opened about a year ago at 2510 N 45th Street. (See Wallyhood’s February story introducing Throw & Build to the neighborhood.) This holiday season, they have teamed up with four other nearby pottery studios to host a new event, Jingle Pots, which will take place simultaneously across all locations.

Throw & Build, as well as Yu Tang Ceramics (Fremont), Gather Pottery (Interbay), Ballard Clay, and The Clay Corner (both in Ballard), will open their doors for a free, all-ages celebration of creativity, local connection, and community. In addition to pottery shopping, there will be activities, such as free wheel tryout, kids’ clay play zone, and a workshop raffle.

Event Details:
  • Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
  • Time: 11 am–4 pm (Yu Tang Ceramics Sale runs 1–4 pm)
  • Locations: Throw & Build in Wallingford, and four other studios across Ballard, Fremont, and Interbay
  • Admission: Free

  • Carmela Creations — handcrafted jewelry
  • SewWings Studio — whimsical soft sculptures
  • Spruce Hill Winery — wine tasting from this small, family-owned winery based in SoDo
Event Details:
  • Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
  • Time: 4–7 pm
  • Location: Stone’s Throw Coffee and Market, 1218 N 45th Street
  • Admission: Free

Alliance Française Joyeux Bazaar 2025

The European Holiday Market has been an annual tradition that I have enjoyed many times at the Good Shepherd Center. But when I looked up the details for this year, I was sad to discover that the venue has changed! So has the name: it is now called Joyeux Bazaar. And while it’s no longer being held in Wallingford, I hope that you will, like me, be happy to learn the details of this expanded holiday event.

There will be booths featuring European art, home goods, jewelry, clothing, books, baked goods, wine, and cider for sale. The event also features choir, music, and dance performances, and a visit from Santa Claus.

Event Details:
  • Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
  • Time: 11 am–5 pm
  • Location: Washington Hall, 153 14th Avenue
  • Admission: Free

We’ve been made aware of an addition to the neighborhood holiday schedule:
