The greater Wallingford area has added several breweries and taprooms in the past few years. For example, there’s Gasworks Brewing down on Lake Union, the Figurehead taproom over on Stone Way, and Jellyfish on Green Lake. What am I missing? Predating all of those, barely, is Ladd & Lass Brewing, located at 722 NE 45th Street just across I-5 in the U District.

On Saturday and Sunday, January 10 and 11, L&L will be celebrating their fourth anniversary, and we’re all invited to join in the festivities. From Nick and Jessie (the Ladd and the lass):

2025 has been one hell of a year. Through all the ups, downs, and truly sideways, we are so very grateful for your continued support. We are so lucky to be able to chase our dream of L&L and have so many amazing partners supporting our journey. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being so good at what you do so that we can do what we do. Despite the ups and downs this year, we have been able to achieve some pretty incredible things, and we look forward to all the things we’ll achieve together in 2026.

We will be kicking off the New Year by celebrating our FOURTH ANNIVERSARY on Saturday, 1/10, and Sunday, 1/11. There will be four new beer releases (including a boatload of barleywine! and our first year-round beer!), a brand-new hangover brunch, commemorative glassware, custom “Tiny Paintings” from Toady Town, and a good ol’ L&L coloring contest! It’ll be a great time, and we hope you’ll be able to join us for the festivities.
