Coffeeholic House: Vietnamese Coffee Shop to Open in Wallingford This Spring

Coffeeholic House, “Seattle’s Vietnamese coffee haven,” is set to open in Wallingford this spring. 

It will be located in the retail space of the Chronicle apartments on Wallingford Avenue N near N 45th Street, but the exact opening date is unknown to the public. 

Coffeeholic, self-proclaimed as Seattle’s first Vietnamese coffee shop, brings a unique coffee experience to the area. They specialize in coffee “steeped in tradition and served with a modern twist,” the website reads.

Volunteers needed for waterway park cleanup at Gasworks Feb. 7

It’s time to pull out the elbow grease– the Green Seattle Partnership is looking for volunteers Friday morning to help pull out ivy and blackberry bushes at Gas Works Park. 

Event details: 

Friday, Feb. 7 

9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Meet on N. Northlake Way, west of Meridian Ave. N on the east side of Gas Works Park. 

Parking is available on N Northlake Way or in the Gas Works parking lot.

The halls of Wallingford United Methodist Church will be filled with relaxing and inspiring melodies this weekend as two highly skilled musicians are set to join forces for a vocal recital on Friday evening.

Baritone Justin Birchell will be accompanied by pianist Victoria Kirsch– traveling from Los Angeles to Wallingford just for this performance– for “The Goal of Living is to Grow;” an evening of song featuring a set of classical numbers ranging from German romanticism to Greek folk songs.
