More good news for the Wallingford community – Fremont Community Schools Childcare center recently celebrated their one-year anniversary!  Located in lower Wallingford, under the leafy branches of an American Sycamore tree, we are happy to announce that our program has spots available for babies and toddlers between the ages of 4 – 30 months. Our center is inspired by Waldorf Education and focuses on compassion, imagination and helping children grow positive social connections.  We are play-based and provide children with time outside as much as possible. Snow! Just that word is enough to send waves of ecstatic joy to children, worry to working parents, and panic to those who must drive in Seattle snow. It’s not that we can’t drive in snow, it’s simply that we are a city full of roads with unplowed hills and very narrow side streets.
