Jay sent in this report and question: Around 5pm last night (thursday), there was a fire truck and police car on Wallingford Ave and 48th, right by St. Bennedicts. Wallingford Ave was blocked off. Slightly outside our borders, but we're a sucker for yard sales and schools. There's a rummage sale this Saturday, May 30th from 9 am - 5 pm at and to benefit the Daniel Bagley Elementary School at 7821 Stone Ave N. There's also the Yard Sale day at or near the John Stanford School on Saturday, but we're still waiting for details on that, which we're not grumpy about at all.
