Wallyhood tipster Joe alerted us that Perche No (1319 N 49th St), which suffered a terrible kitchen fire several months ago (Say it ain't so, Perche No! | Wallyhood) is re-opening May 15th! Great news, the restaurant business is tough enough without fires making it harder. We've got a note in to the owners asking for more deets and will keep you posted.
We're giving away Wallingford honey. We've mentioned that we have, in our Wallingford back yard, two bee hives (we chronicle our adventures in backyard beekeeping over at the Hive Mind Honey blog). The honey they make is delicious, and has been featured on the menu at Molly Moon, Sutra and now several Tom Douglas restaurants (Dahlia Lounge, Palace Kitchen).
