If we celebrated Easter, we might well brunch at Joule this Sunday. It's a special, $25 / pp family style affair featuring: Dungeness crab egg foo young, Spicy shrimp and grits, French toast strata, sake poached rhubarb, Spicy lamb and potato gratin. Their ad displays a yellow Peep. In a sign of the times, their announcement mail instructs us "search for 'joule restaurant' at FaceBook.com". April 6th marks one year since Wallingford resident Emma Kowalczyk passed away. She was four and a half months old. She and her twin sister, Ella, shared a womb, and, more importantly, a placenta. As sometimes happens in such cases, the girls suffered from Twin-to-twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS): the shared placenta allowed a shared blood supply.
