Sharon spotted a new development project going through the permitting process at 1240 Midvale Pl N (that little triangle across the street from Fuerte Fitness, where 45th St forks, curves up and merges with 46th). The project calls for "a four story structure containing 33 residential units above 2,300 sq. ft. of commercial space. Existing structure to be demolished." The existing structure is The Back Clinic. DOUG. writes: This was the scene on Thackeray Pl NE, between 42nd and 43rd at 8:30 this morning. A large delivery truck carrying lumber was stuck on Thackeray for about and hour because it was too big to make the turn at 42nd.
