Greenwood Art Walk

Until the Wallingford Art Walk returns, we'll have to get our art fix by walking to our neighbor neighborhoods. Tonight, it's Greenwood-Phinney's turn with Art Up/Open Up.Now, for the Obligatory Wallingford Content, visit former Bottleworks manager (and, we're told, "lifetime Bottleworks Air Jordan historian") Kevin "Sensei 23 projux" Sullivan at Naked City Tap House(8564 Greenwood Ave N), where he'll be having a reception. Watch Your Step

Janet Stillman of the Wallingford Neighborhood Office wrote:Yesterday another pedestrian was struck and seriously injured at the corner of Meridian Ave. N. and 45th St. The "Walk" signal had just changed, but a driver trying to beat the yellow light, didn't and ended up running the red light. Now And Then

InterConnection

With Wallingford's solid waste transfer station such a hot topic, it's worth taking a detour down Pacific by Gasworks to a little Wallingford-based business that's doing its part to keep computers out of the dump and, as long as they're at it, provide low-cost technology and skills to poor communities all over the world. You may have seen them on your walk down the Burke, nestled back in a non-descript, warehouse-like building up on Pacific next to the "Home Made Wine" sign.…
