    completely against anything other than the natural land as is. it does not have to be developed in any way, for any reason. just leave it alone. re wild it to some degree. like, really re wild it.
    its idiotic to turn it into some stupid competition freak show.
    leave it alone.

    “…stupid competition freak show.” Wow! Tell me you were always picked last in sports pickup games without telling me you were always picked last.

    I am both a former Lincoln HS athlete and a lover of peaceful and family-friendly recreation. The plans I have seen are a compromise. Grass fields are 100% non-usable for 9 months of the year in Seattle with the best of care. It’s just a fact.

    Yes, in my day we walked or ran down to Lower Woodland fields for practice but those are incredibly crowded now due to the growth in population. (My guess is you never got to experience the joy of picking Cintrex pieces out of your legs.)

    I think a mixed use plan for Wallingford Park is the best one.
