Sozo PlaySpace

Jordan Jordan January 22, 2009 1 Comment

Dean tipped us off that a new playspace for children is opening in the area just south of the zoo. Needless to say, we’re happy that children have a new place to play, especially one featuring up and down roller coasters, but our true delight comes from the discovery that the area south of the zoo is known as SoZo. Despite the fact that it reminds us vaguely of Led Zeppelin, or perhaps The Usual Suspects, we feel it lends an urban chic to an area that could use all the chic it can get.

SoZO is great! We went for the first time today. There are plenty of toys to go around, the play area is pretty large, and it wasn’t overly crowded. I have an almost two year old and a newborn, so I’m on the lookout for places to go where I can nurse the baby while the older one can run and play and I don’t have to worry about him running out of sight. This place was perfect.
