Now And Then

Jordan Jordan February 13, 2009 2 Comments

We were out of town this last week (Atlanta, if you must know), so we’re doing a bit of catch-up. The other Wallingford blog had a nice shot this past Sunday from the Seattle Times Pacific Northwest Magazine’s Now and Then column showing a pictures of the corner of Wallingford Ave N and N 45th St from 1950.

It appears there weren’t cigarette butts littering the sidewalk outside of Babalu in 1950.

It’s a much nicer corner without the QFC parking lot. I hope to see it become a bit less suburban again some day.

I abhor that babalu place – what is with those colored lights?
