Green Lake Gobble

Jordan Jordan November 20, 2009 Comments are off

If you’re wondering what all those people heading to Green Lake this Sunday are up to, My Green Lake has the scoop. It’s the Green Lake Gobble:

Taking place at Green Lake Park this Sunday, November 22nd, the Green Lake Gobble & Mashed Potato Munch Off will bring over 1,200 event participants to either compete in the 5K run/walk, the free kids dash, or the soon to be a favorite mashed potato competitive eating contest where eight (un)lucky contestants will go head to head for 5 minutes to see who can eat the most mashed potatoes within that time. The winner of the Mashed Potato Munch Off will receive a crown, some money, a lifetime entry into the 5K portion of the event.

…as well as a lifetime of enmity from the Atkins Diet Institute.
