Back in October, we mentioned that Izilla Toys was going to open an annex store in the Wallingford Center for the holidays, with the hope that they might make the space a second location. Turns out, they like us so much, they’re here to stay. Though the shop is now closed for renovation, the plan is to re-open some time in mid-January, with a grand re-opening celebration slated for early February.
“We were really moved by how welcoming and supportive the Wallingford community was to our shop and family. We look forward to meeting more of the families there as we move forward,” Izilla owner Jude LaRene wrote in an e-mail.
We like you too, Izilla, and as winner of the best Seattle Toy Store Parents’ Pick 2009 from Parents Connect, it seems we’re not alone.
