The Yes Pleases say yes to MS

Kendall March 25, 2010 3 Comments

Did you know that one of our most committed neighborhood baristas is also a virtuoso? Josh Bates, a long time Essential Baking Co. barista and assistant manager, is also a founder of one of the hippest indie rock bands out there, The Yes Pleases. Give them a listen!

The Yes Pleases, along with several other local bands, have put together an MS benefit show that will be taking place at Nectar Lounge in Fremont.  Go check them out tonight starting at 7pm. The show will be 21 and over with an $8 suggested donation.  Proceeds go towards the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  If you are looking to get out for a bit, but don’t want to go too far, I suggest taking a quick jaunt over to Fremont’s Nectar Lounge to enjoy some great music to the tune of helping those in need.  The Yes Pleases would sure love to see you!

The Yes Pleases would like to officially go on the record as saying “NO” to MS 😉

Thanks for the clarification, The Yes Pleases … 😉

How about Yes to funding MS research/cure? You guys are awesome for doing the fundraiser!

What can I say? I went for the rhyming title, but I think it’s safe to say that no one was going to accuse you of playing for the hopes of more MS… 🙂
