It’s spring cleaning time! As if we needed a reason, Earth Day is coming up April 22nd, so the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring “Operation Beautification Wallingford” on April 17th from 10 am – 1 pm:
Calling ALL Wallingford business’s and residents young and old!On April 17Th from 10 Am to 1 PM there will be a rally on the patio and Wallingford Center kicking off the first “Operation Beautification Wallingford!The city of Seattle will donate gloves and bags for the workers. We will have coffee and water donated by local business’s available at the Wallingford Center. There will be maps of the areas to be cleaned. After the clean up we will put the garbage in a truck and take to the dump.
A rally! A patio! An Operation! We hope to see you all there. And if you’re a bar owner, and your patrons often smoke cigarettes outside your bar, you could contribute extra special by including a clean-up sweep (into the garbage, not the street) as part of your employee’s daily chores! Whadya say?
