Fashionable Wrists from Failed Sweaters

Jordan Jordan April 20, 2010 1 Comment

Our friend and neighbor, Christen Mattix, is offering a class over at the Fremont Abbey on May 1st that looks to be fun:

Fashionable Wrists from Failed Sweaters
Join Wallingford artist Christen Mattix as she teaches creative approaches to transforming old, ugly sweaters into elegant wristwarmers. These are not only sustainable, they’re also cheap, fun, and trendy!

Get your creative juices flowing as Christen demonstrates techniques, shares patterns, and leaves you time to create your own masterpiece. Sewing machines will be available.

$20 per person, 12 and older, visit http://www.fremontabbey.org/classes/page16 to register.
