Where’s the AC?

Jordan Jordan July 7, 2010 Comments are off

Back when we were in college, we spent a semester in the OTHER Washington, working at CBS News. It was memorable and life changing in many ways, but at the moment, the lasting image is of the crushing heat and humidity of the DC summer. To get a break from it, we spent a number of afternoons strolling the aisles of the local grocery store, idling reading box labels, dreaming up recipes we had no intention of cooking and generally passing the time in air conditioned bliss.

On that note, Jude from Izilla Toys wants us to remind you that, should the Seattle heat become too much, you can enjoy the refreshing air conditioning in Wallingford Center, where many merchants will be offering 10% off during the Wallingford Farmer’s Market this afternoon.

Now you know.
