Rain Sushi Groupon

Jordan Jordan July 15, 2010 4 Comments

Somehow we got subscribed to all those “group deal” services, where you get offered one “screaming deal” a day, and it’s only good if a certain number of people buy it. Well, today’s Groupon deal is for Wallingford’s own Rain Sushi: you can buy a certificate good for $50 worth of sushi, sake and such for $24. It’s local and it’s a good deal, so we thought we’d share it with you:

$50 worth of Rain Sushi for $24

Hey, while you’re there, maybe you can try their Wallyhood Roll!

Disclaimer: if you haven’t used Groupon before and you sign up with that link, we get a little kickback from Groupon.

Don’t know if you’ve already posted about this, but Kisaku, the sushi restaurant on 55th, also has a Wallingford Roll, which I highly recommend.  The combination of  yellowtail, green onion, cucumber, radish sprout, and flying fish roe is incredible!

I love Rain and would love to pick this up! But I’m reading this from out of town, and clicking on every link just takes me to local (out of state) offers. Any ideas on how to join while away from the nabe?

Bought the groupon; thanks for the tip.

I love groupon!  It’s non-invasive, takes about a second to decide if it’s something you want or not, and they have some great deals!
