
The store remains closed and while we’ve seen various handwritten notes hinting that it might be re-opened, only faded UPS slips and Post-its from the USPS imploring someone to pick up mail remain.
If anyone has more information about the shop’s future or how Phyllis Brown is doing, we’d certainly love to hear from you.
And to Phyllis, we wish you well and miss your rare and wonderful expertise.

While I’m sorry for anyone who’s health is suffering, I will say that the owner of this shop — while talented — was a real pill and crabby to boot. I tried to patronize her store over the years but gave up a few years ago after being “snarked” at every time I went in.
I kind of thought that was the best part about it.
Sad to hear Phyllis fell ill. I never had a bad experience in her shop. I have no clue where I will take my sweaters to be repaired 🙁
So bummed to hear that Phyllis fell ill and the shop is no longer open. Her work was top notch. I was able to find another revweaver to repair my damaged sweater. I’m not sure if she could manage fixing damamged knits like Phyllis could…
