Talk to Me, Baby!

Helen August 11, 2010 Comments are off

Want to read what readers are writing, or write something for readers to read?

There’s a place for that, it’s called the Wallyhood Forums.  Let’s take a peek at what’s going on:

  • Recommendations.  Optometry, Dental and Physician.  You only get one set of eyes, teeth and body.  Take care of them.
  • If you cast your eye down the list, you will see people posting for all sorts of other advice, information and services.  You could be one of those people!  Need a rental, babysitter, job?  Reach out to your neighbors – they can help.

If you read a post that inspires comment, you can also start or join a conversation.   Got an opinion on Wallingford businesses in the Best of Seattle?  On a more serious note, Chris’ posts last week on a man being arrested at Wallingford Playfield and him being the bank robbery suspect set off a heated discussions of attitudes toward homeless people in our neighborhood with widely ranging levels of tolerance.  It’s our neighborhood, let’s talk.
