Boxer Puppies Fred and Gus FOUND!

Margaret Margaret September 6, 2010 8 Comments

We’re very happy to report that the two adorable 14 month Boxer pups, Fred and Gus, are home safe and sound.  Steve wrote:

FOUND!!…. well more like ransomed back to us. It is a long story and probably would entail an entire article but the facts are that my wife and kids are ecstatic to have our puppies back. Thank you to EVERYONE that reached out to us and supported us during this very long 36 hours.

Steve has an appointment to get them micro-chipped tomorrow.

We’re very happy for the family!  If you ever feel like sharing the deets, we’d be happy to pass them along.

Wow, I’m happy they are home safe. What a relief. I can’t imagine your past couple days. I was looking for them everywhere I went since yesterday.

Ransomed back to you? Considering the alternatives, this is probably one of the better choices. Was it a ridiculous amount? Ugh, I hope not.

This is terrific news….we have been thinking about you and your family all weekend.

You must tell the whole story, ransomed back? My stars….

I read a story recently about a pup being stolen in Seattle and then ransomed back to the owners in a very shady “give me a reward” scheme. Cops arrested them, but it will be interesting if you follow up.

I think we need to hear the REST of the story, even if it is long. So glad you have them back. Maybe they didn’t jump the fence. Sure glad you have those puppies back, bet you were SO RELIEVED!
    My granddog is a boxer.

Oh how painful it was for me to see the flyer on telephone poles and then to read about these poor pups on Wallyhood. I’m so happy to hear they are home again.
I’ll take this opportunity to recommend that everyone microchip, neuter, license and vaccinate their dogs and cats. Almost every day in our neighborhood, I see flyers for missing cats . Indoor only will keep your kitties safe! Please consider it.
I love the fact that these boxer pups had their original ears. Be nice if they had their original tails as well.

Glad for you and also want to hear the rest of the story. Maybe we can foil these cruel folks.

As the owner of a wonderful, old boxer dog, I’m so happy to learn that you got your puppies back! Great news.
