5:00- 7:00 p.m. City Cellars holds informal drop-in tastings on Fridays. This week, they’ll feature new arrivals. Tastings include a flight of up to three wines, and cost $3-$5.
7:00 to 9:30 P.M. Friday Night at the Meaningful Movies presents “WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?” Followed by a facilitated discussion with special guests!
Saturday
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Solo Travelers at Wide World Books & Maps monthly informal gathering to share travel experiences.
9:30 a.m. – 2:00 P.M. John Stanford International Elementary School Move-A-Thon fundraiser. The event is on the Burke-Gilman Trail from just east of Meridian & Northlake Way to just west of Latona & NE Pacific St (Dunn Lumber). Students will be riding up and down the course on whatever wheels they want to raise funds for the JSIS. Cyclists, we suggest avoiding the course all together unless you want to be run down by the Kindergarten class.
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Hamilton International Middle School Grand Opening. All community members are invited to tour the building, see the new library, gym and commons. Tour the new science labs and find out what a “smart board” is. There will be baked goods for sale in the commons, and ice cream for sale from Molly Moon’s mobile scoop shop, 42nd & Densmore at 11 a.m.
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. COLA (Citizens for Off-Leash Areas) work party at the Woodland Park off-leash area. The park will be closed to the public during the work party, but volunteers are welcome to bring their four-legged friends to help!

12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. GraceFeast at Gift of Grace Church
2:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Third Annual Dine Out for Animals at Elemental.
