It’s Back…Seattle Restaurant Week 2010

Get ready for some good eatin’ at a great price as Seattle Restaurant Week kicks off this Sunday October 17, and runs through Thursday, October 28 (excluding Friday and Saturday).  Over 100 Seattle restuarants, including neighborhood favorites JouleEvaTilthKisaku, and Ivar’s Salmon House are participating.

Here’s a list of three-course dinner options at Wallingford’s restaurants, though take note that the items are subject to change.

Joule:

Appetizers: Mackerel Escabeche, Roasted Asian Pear Bisque, or Braised Beef Tongue

Entrees: Korean Chili Sausage, Hawaiian Prawns, or Kabocha Jasmine Rice Grits

Desserts: Bittersweet Chocolate Bread Pudding, Baked Apple, or Lemon Rice Cake

Eva:

Appetizers: Curried Squash Soup, Chickpea Fritters, Mussels Steamed, or Squash-Spinach, and Walnut Tortilla

Entrees: Curried Pork, Rabbit, Beef Salad, or Vatapa (Fish and Shellfish Stew)

Desserts: Spicy Gingerbread, Apple Pecan Coffee Cake, or Caramel Butterscotch Custard

Tilth:

Appetizers: Oxbow Farm Pumpkin Soup, Full Circle Farm Lettuces, or Cauliflower Flan

Entree: Seared Rare St. Jude’s Albacore Tuna, Wild Mushroom Risotto, or Wild Boar Bolognese

Dessert: Dark Chocolate Sorbet, Butterscotch Pudding, or Brown Butter Financier

Kisaku:

Appetizers: Crab sunomono, Chicken tempura with spicy sauce, Sauteed prawns with butter soy, Seared albacore salad with garlic ponzu

Entree: Flame broiled black cod kasuzuke, Pan-seared tuna belly, Omakase sushi, Omakase sashimi

Dessert: Cheese cake, Strawberry mousse, Mochi ice cream

Ivar’s Salmon House:

Appetizers: Ivar’s Famous Chowder, Mixed Greens, or House Made Salmon Mousse

Entrees: Alder Grilled King Salmon with Cauliflower Gratin, Husky Purple and Gold (Halibut Fillet), or Alder Grilled King Salmon with Mushroom Reduction

Desserts: Chocolate Pot du Creme, Seasonal Fruit Crisp, or Coconut Burnt Creme

*Ivar’s Salmon House is also offering Lunch for $15

Reservations are strongly encouraged, and for some places, you can make a reservation directly from the Seattle Restaurant Week website. Price is per person, and does not include drinks, tax, or tips.
