We want to meet you! It’s been almost two years now since we started writing Wallyhood, and in that time, reading your comments, getting your tips and learning about the neighborhood, well, it’s all started to feel like family.
You know, a family that lives in the same neighborhood but never actually lays eyes on each other. Which is a weird kind of family.
Time to set that straight, we say!
As we mentioned last week, we’re holding our first ever Wallyhood Readers Meetup next Wednesday, November 17th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the Blue Star Cafe and Pub (4512 Stone Way N.) The Blue Star is chipping in for some appetizers, we’ll sport a pitcher of beer or two and we’ll have a chance to meet! In person!
Come on down, it’s going to be fun. You can berate us for whatever story we missed this week, suggest ways we can make Wallyhood awesomer, and just share stories from around the ‘hood.

I’m wondering how many of us will lay eyes on each other and say, “Oh! It’s the dude/chick I always see at QFC/Fuel/Starbucks/etc…” It’ll be nice to put faces to names… and names to faces!
