Community Kitchen: Hearty Summer Salads

Vietnamese Chicken and Cabbage Salad

This Friday evening, June 17, the Wallingford Community Kitchen is tossing up several hearty summer salads for dinner. The event is open to anyone who wants to help prepare and share a meal with the group. Here’s what’s on the menu:

  • Orzo Marjoram Salad
  • Pesto Pasta Salad
  • Savory Thai Coconut Salad
  • Tuscan Tuna & Farro Salad
  • Vietnamese Chicken & Cabbage Salad

Time: June 17, 2011 from 5:30pm to 9pm

Location: Wallingford COMMUNITY Senior Center at the Good Shepherd Center, (4649 Sunnyside Ave N, Room 140)

Bring: An appetizer, side dish, dessert or drink to share with the group (please no bread products as we receive those by donation)

Participation requires an early bird (tickets purchased by 5pm, June 15th) pre-registration fee of $9.99 to cover the cost of ingredients and the facilities.
