Grab the kiddies and bring your appetites to KeyBank this Saturday, June 18, from 11 am to 1pm for their Grand Opening celebration. They’ll have lunch and face painting, balloons and all sortsa family fun stuff.
Downtown Joe and Jodi from the Bob Rivers Show on Oldies 95.7 will be broadcasting live so you can boogie to the Bee Gees. KeyBank opened last month on the corner of 45th and Densmore (1700 N. 45th St.). The branch is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays; and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

Hmmm. I wonder if they realize they’ve scheduled the open house during the Solstice Parade, and whether that matters or not. 😉
This is Steve from the KeyBank Wallingford branch. Actually, we did consider that the Solstice Parade was Saturday. The week prior was Graduation for UW… It’s difficult to find a time for an event that doesn’t coincide with others when we have such vibrant communities. I invite you to come visit the office another time which is more convenient… Maybe at the Art Walk, for example. It is quite fun to be a part of this neighborhood, I must say… Thanks for your concern.
Of course, there is always the opportunity for folks to enjoy both events. The Solstice party will be going on all afternoon. I’ll be there! That’s my plan! 😉
I thought they already had their Grand Opening Bash a couple of weeks ago so this party is just gravy as far as I’m concerned. Ooh, I hope I win the trip to the San Juans!
