Pirates and Pipsqueaks

Margaret Margaret August 16, 2011 Comments are off

Ahoy there, me harties! Come join the SeaFair Pirates during the annual Pirates and Pipsqueaks carnival at the Solid Ground parking lot (1501 N. 45th St.) this Sunday, August 21, from 12pm – 5pm:

Pirates and Pipsqueaks is an old fashioned carnival for kids of all ages. Enjoy a lovely summer afternoon with the Seafair Pirates. Vintage carnival games will include Dunk the Pirate, a Pirate Bounce House, Walk the Plank, Cupcake Walk, Pirate Whiffle Ball, Ducks in the Pond, Balloon Darts, Bottle Ring Toss, and lots more. Kids can enter the Pirate Costume Contest. See a real pirate ship, win fabulous prizes, enjoy live music, face painting, food and fun!

All proceeds will benefit services for homeless children at Broadview Shelter and Transitional Housing, a program of Solid Ground. The cost of games are set at old fashioned prices so as to be accessible to everyone.
