B.F. Day Family Dinner and Open House

Margaret Margaret January 19, 2012 Comments are off

On Thursday evening, January 26, B.F. Day Elementary School (3921 Linden Avenue N. in Fremont) will hold its annual Open House, inviting future families to come and check out the school. The Open House includes a family-style dinner (see menu below), and allows families to meet Principal Susan McCloskey and the PTSA, and take a look inside the classrooms. Here’s the itinerary for the evening:
  • All classrooms will be open from 6:00-7:45PM.
  • There will be a Book Fair 5:30-7:45PM on the 2nd floor, hosted by B.F. Day librarian, Ms. Donnelly. All proceeds are to benefit the school’s library.
  • A Musical performance with Ms. Sandy and the B.F. Day students begins at 6:00PM in the gym. PTSA info session follows in the gym with door prizes.
  • Dinner at 6:15PM – 7:15PM in the cafeteria.

The family dinner menu: Vegetarian, gluten-free and meat pizza pies. Mixed salad greens with dressing. Fresh, hearty breads; water with sliced lemon; seasonal fruit and cookies; and Starbucks Tea and Coffee. No pork or nuts in any foods. Prepared by the fabulous B.F. Day Kitchen Crew.

The Family Dinners are made possible by generous donations from the PTSA and Community. Please R.S.V.P. by Tuesday, January 24 to Beth Tesh: 206-252-6042 or [email protected].

If you would like to tour the school, please call our school to set up a day/time for your individual tour: 206.252.6010.
