Here’s a little bit of trivia: The first Dick’s Drive-in opened on 45th Street right here in Wallingford during a snowstorm on January 25, 1954. A few days later, after the snow melted, they had a re-grand opening on January 28. Business is blooming and the Hansen's folks are introducing themselves to their Wallingford neighbours via an Open House on January 25th.
