Drunk driver takes out cars on Thackeray Pl.

Wallyhood reader Andrew wrote to tell us this bit of bad news from Wednesday night:

On Thackeray Pl., north of 45th St., mine and my neighbor’s car were both hit by a drunk driver. I was asleep at the time, and was woken up by a roommate, around 10:30, after the incident. My car got a good scrape on the passenger side, largely bad comestic. The drunk driver proceeded straight into the right front fender/headlight area of the car, knocking it back about five four to feet from where it was parked. My neighbor told me that the driver continured up Thackeray, hitting other cars, and then even made it to I-5 before SPD got him/her.

    Yes, SPD caught the driver. They have a detective working on the case currently.
