Seattle Restaurant Week Returns

Margaret Margaret March 29, 2012 1 Comment

Get your palates ready for sumptuous dining around Wallingford–and beyond. Seattle Restaurant Week happens April 8-12 and again on April 15-19, when restaurants will offer three-course dinners for $28, and some will even offer $15 for a three-course lunch. Not only will you have 150 restaurants to choose from, but you’ll also have the chance to participate in a little contest called “Eat & Seek” if you own a smartphone. Here’s the 411:

All participating restaurants will post the QR code in an inconspicuous location in the restaurant during SRW. Once found, diners simply need to scan the code with their iphone or Android phone in order to enter to win a variety of prizes from an overnight in a Seattle hotel, restaurant gift cards, a chef experience and more. Each diner can only scan the QR code once every 24 hours, giving a maximum of 10 scans during the 10 days of SRW. Social media will aid diners in locating the QR codes with some restaurants giving clues of the QR codes’ location via Facebook and Twitter.

If you’re looking to stay in the neighborhood, here’s our list of local restaurants participating in Seattle Restaurant Week:

  • Art of the Table
  • Cantinetta
  • Ivar’s Salmon House
  • Joule
  • Tilth
  • Kisaku
  • Eva Restaurant
For more information, visit www.SeattleRestaurantWeek.com. Diners can visit Twitter (@SeattleRW) and Facebook (Facebook.com/SeattleRestaurantWeek) for daily news and giveaways.
