Greenway Par-tay Meeting

Margaret Margaret April 20, 2012 Comments are off

Folks, it’s on! The Wallingford Greenway Block Party is happening on Saturday, June 16, from 4:00PM – 7:00PM! Now that we’ve got the date set, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and start planning for this extravaganza. If you’re interested in helping out, there’s an upcoming meeting next Wednesday, April 25 at 7:00PM. Andrew has provided us with all of the details:
Exactly two months to the Wallingford Greenway Celebration (Saturday June 16th from 4-7pm)! We have submitted a grant application to the city and are working with SDOT to get the needed permits. Next up is coordinating with organizations and businesses as we plan and advertise the block party. We will meet up next Wednesday, April 25th at 7:00pm at Mosaic Coffee House (4401 2nd Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105). If you are interested in taking on a completely manageable role in helping with this block party than please join us!We will need help with:
  • Designing and distributing printed materials advertising the party
  • Finding a local food truck or food vendor to participate in the block party
  • Recruit volunteers to help set-up, take down and run the block party
  • Help plan and run the crafts table for the block party
  • And many more things…
Let me know if you are interested in helping and able to come!
