WCC/SPU Transfer Station Contract

Lee April 3, 2012 Comments are off

Last Thursday, March 29th, Seattle Public Utilities and the Wallingford Community Council presented their agreement regarding the rebuilding of the North Transfer Station, along with supporting amendments to the land use code, to the City Council’s Planning, Land Use and Sustainability committee chaired by Councilmember Conlin. SPU presented a short visual summary of the benefits of the agreement to both the City and the community. The video summary and documents under consideration can be found at http://wallingford.org/get-involved/community-council/.

The WCC will have its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, April 4th, 7:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Center. Among the subjects under consideration will be community preparedness and proposed amendments to WCC bylaws. Everyone is welcome.
